       How can one get to Linz most quickly and most cheaply? [Anderson footnote: “After his return to Vienna from Teplitz Beethoven visited his brother Johann at Linz, arriving there about October 5th.  In 1808 Johann had purchased a chemist’s shop at Linz.” Please answer this question exhaustively – Have you then no prospect whatever of getting another apartment? – On Saturday or Saturday [sic] I shall perhaps invite you to Hernals – Accept my best wishes and love me.
